Where You Can Use This Jaali Panel This panel works well as a room divider between living and dining areas. Many customers use it for pooja room doors, balcony screens and window covers. Shops and restaurants use it as a wall feature behind the counter. In metal, it makes a good main gate or staircase grill. Because the edges are framed, you can place two or three panels side by side to cover a full wall.

Material and Thickness Tips For indoor partitions, 12mm or 18mm MDF is a good choice as it stays straight and paints well. For lighter decor or ceiling panels, 6mm MDF is enough. Finishing Ideas Sand the edges lightly to remove burn marks. For MDF, apply primer and then white, gold or walnut PU paint. A duco finish gives a premium look for pooja doors. Metal panels look good with black powder coating or antique gold finish. To make it stand out, fix LED strip lights behind the panel or use frosted acrylic at the back.
